Rochester Castle and Lullingstone Roman Villa

I’ve sorted out the photos and typos from my previous post. It took me 2 hours…. 2 hours!!!…. to get the post published. I totally blame my incompetence on using my phone and not the margheritas. Needless to say, yesterday I was out adventuring and not spending an absurd amount of time on my phone.

Fake abbey and a castle

I told Paul we were going to an abbey in Winchester today. I did get the Winchester bit right but the abbey? No. It was the bishops palace, now in ruins, called Wolvesey Castle. It never was strictly a castle either to add to my confusion. It’s at the back of Wincester Cathedral. We walked
