A little while ago Paul and discovered a bead shop in a craft centre in Bosham. The place is packed from floor to ceiling with glass jars full of beads in any colour, shape or form. Today felt like a craft day so we headed over there to pick up some beads for some more Pagan prayer/blessing beads.
Paul wanted something elemental. Here’s the finished product – you can’t really appreciate how big and heavy this one is from the photo.

Normally I go for sparkly or gemstones but I wanted something earthy and grounding. These Pagan beads are wood, bone, horn, ceramic and glass – you can’t get more grounded than that! I picked flowers too because it’s Ostara tomorrow and I can’t wait for Spring

When the boys came home the dining table was still in a mess so my younger son got stuck in too.

Here he is with his finished product – he’s so proud of it he took it to bed and hung it around his bed post:

This month for our magazine I made a set of triple goddess beads to give away. They’ve been sitting on my kitchen altar since the last full moon waiting to meet their new owner. They’re made with onyx, moonstone opalite and amber with a handmade spiral charm. These are handbag size and I might just have to make myself a set too
