No School And Snow

Last night whilst these 3 monsters were huddled against the radiator (apologies for the photo quality and the mess on the floor):

It snowed!!!

I sent the boys to school…

But the school was shut.  They spent the day in the park making snowmen, creating face down snow angels and throwing snow balls at each other.

They’re at home tomorrow too.  I’m not sure if their enthusiasm for going outside will be so high then as they’ve only just thawed out!!

For the last 48hrs I see pics of my friends in UK, Manchester, Sussex, with snow and cold..When I went to UK, it was always raining! I am in Quebec and we are used to snow and cold, but we have a little bit of snow and -6C when last year we had huge snow storms and -35C..so am a little bit jealous of your weather! We can’t bitch anymore abt the cold and snow with our neighbourgs!

I always read your articles with my first cup of coffee! Thanks for sharing with us !

      Hi Kristyane,

I know we get off pretty lightly with snow and very low temperatures over here. I think that’s why when we do get some winter weather it comes as a suprise – you’re right, it rains here more than anything else!!

      Warmest wishes to you!

(trying not to bitch about =3c…. but OMG I’m cold)

    Hiya Lyn

Sunny blue sky here in Canuckland but cold arrived today with -9C to -21C and it stays for a week! hopefully it wont be windy! We can’t complain we are all well dressed up, cars have snow tires and home heaters with fire logs will keep us warm. We dont have the humidity as you have where 3C is very cold for you! I saw you pic in the shopping store..it is mad! people are panicking ! It made me think as we are used to our winters and life goes on here (very rare we miss work even if they announce a big storm) how other country comes to an halt! Even snow in the north of France and when I lived there, I never saw one inch of snow! Guess soon Montreal will be the island in the sun! We won’t need to travel to the Caraibeen! Have a great weekend!
