I don’t watch a great of TV but I am sort of hooked on the X-Factor.

It has all the right ingredients.  First there are the auditions where most people who show up thinking they can sing end up with their 5 minutes of TV fame based on their lack of musical ability.  I feel for those who stand in front of the judges, warble badly for an incredibly long minute then are told they have no talent.  And yet, I find myself extending sympathy but not being able to take my eyes of the screen; secretly hoping the next hopeful will be even worse.

When the judges have sorted through the talentful and the talentless then the live shows begin.  This year it’s more compelling than usual because of, the entertaining but vocally challenged, John & Edward.

We don’t watch the show on TV anymore because it’s a huge chunk out of Saturday evening but by first thing Sunday morning I’ve searched the web to find out the gossip and the clips of the performers.  I just NEED to know what on Earth John & Edward pulled in the name of entertainment.
