This week my camera hasn’t come out much because I’ve been SO busy. These are my weekly winner photos for the meme/carnival over at Sarcastic Mom.
We hired a car for the weekend because we needed to drop the boys at Guildford to spend the weekend with their Dad. Yesterday we bought a sandwich for brunch and watched the world go by, or more precisely the sea go by, at Lee on the Solent. I zoomed in on this yacht – the Isle of Wight is in the background.
With our new found freedom we drove to Burley in the new forest:
We parked in a field because everyone else in the whole wide world seemed to be in Burley too. But that was ok because there were some farm animals for Tabitha to look at. There was a beautiful peacock but he wouldn’t stay still while I poked my camera lens through his cage. I gave up and took his feathers (not literally).
Today I’ve been outside in the garden seeing what hasn’t yet succumbed to Autumn.

And lastly, a shot of Tabitha sharing her lunch. I didn’t take what was offered – she’s still teething and still dripping in snot.
Beautiful pics, and come on the snotty offerings of a toddler taste great : ). That is when I pretend to take bites LOL
The feathers are just as beautiful close up as they are en masse.
These are all wonderful! Love the florals and the first shot of the sailboats is so peaceful. The last pic of Tabitha is so sweet.
