I bought a rubber plant about 5 years ago. It was my experiment to see if I could actually keep from killing a plant. I had been, up to that point, as successful with plants as I was with goldfish.
A couple of months ago my rubber plant (affectionately named Ruby by my son) began to look a bit, well, limp. Not being a natural green fingered witch I wasn’t quite sure what to do but thought the pot was looking a bit small. I re-potted and NOTHING!
Then I hung a goddess symbol I’d made on one of Ruby’s branches.
The plant has gone from sorry looking to lush. At any one time there are three new leaves sprouting.
It’s great to see the plant so vibrant especially as I thought I’d lose it. But now my problem is I’m running out of space for Ruby to grow upwards!

Lyn, how is Ruby doing now, two years later? Has she grown as much as Tabitha??
How about an update complete with picture(s)?
To quote a saying (coined by an infamous US tabloid newspaper!) that was once well-known over here: "Inquiring minds want to know!" (Inquiring PLANT-loving minds, that is!! X} )
Photos taken and new post will be up today. How can I not resist satisfying an enquiring mind!
